House keeper
The housekeepers are required to maintain good health as most of the tasks involve physical work where they are needed to stand, walk, lift, and bend throughout their shifts. Besides, they are expected to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming while adhering to the working principles and policies

Housekeeping Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining wide range of high standard cleanliness and hygiene in the rooms, locker rooms, restrooms, lounges, corridors, hallways, stairways, and other work spaces of the premises.
  • Ensure perfect working of the tools and equipment employed to execute high quality work
  • Replenish food supplies, restroom equipment, bed linens, kitchen items, room accessories, and writing supplies
  • Make beds and change bed sheets, besides providing laundry services
  • Use squeegees, cleaners, and other equipment to dust, clean, and polish window panes and glasses, mirrors, glass partitions, walls, furniture’s, house items, fixtures, mattresses, etc.
  • Monitor the security of guest belongings and safety of the delegated areas by sincerely conducting the regular checks. Besides, reporting found articles, thefts, including construction and electrical damages
  • Report to the supervisors and promptly respond to the housekeeping needs
  • Ensure superior housekeeping standards in all guest areas including the back of house spaces.
  • Must handle various cleaning solvent and chemicals required and follow the safety first procedure.
  • Maintaining highest level of personal hygiene.
  • Should always maintain positive poster and maintain a warm and friendly smile all the time.
  • Must maintain excellent cordial and working relation with all the department and co- workers. 

Ideal Candidate

Butler

Reporting to: Facility Manager

Butler is committed to the highest standards of service, anticipates as well as expedites, organizes as well as implements, and delegates effectively. He is well organized, well-groomed, reliable, low-key, unobtrusive professional.

Job responsibility

  • Ensuring at all times that all guest needs and requirements are met and to demonstrate a high and consistent level of organization & Management.

  • Communicating & providing feedback at all times with all the related departments & to be constantly proactive in anticipating guest needs and requirements).

  • Welcomes guests in a traditional Arabic manner. Recognizes all repeat and important guests.

  • Anticipates and meets guests’ needs and requests, ensuring complete Guest satisfaction.

  • Bears a full & comprehensive knowledge of the premises, including all departments, services, outlets, amenities and functions.

  • Ensures the guest are familiarised of all the facilities and services within the suite.

  • Is a continual source of help, assistance & information to all guests and Identifies & anticipate guest needs.

  • Is continually proactive with in all areas of operation.

  • Reports for duty punctually & in accordance to the issued department duty roster.

  • Adheres to the Generic SOP’s like Departmental Grooming & Uniform Standards/ Company policies & procedures/ Health & Safety policies.

  • Is responsible for the cleanliness of the Butler Pantry and ensuring that the Pantry is correctly stocked & maintained according to set standards

  • Co-ordinates & liaises with the Butler team, Butler Management, Private Dining, HSK for any guests’ requirements.


  • Reports and follows up any maintenance requirement according to standard procedures.

  • Ensures all the equipment of the premises is maintained in good condition at all times

  • Performs other duties & responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management.

  • Builds a thorough rapport with all in-house guests and maintains interaction in order to facilitate guest recognition and obtain specific individual needs, likes and dislikes in order to maintain guest history files.

  • Maintains the privacy and ensures security of in-house guests.

  • Ensures that all procedures & responsibilities relating to the Arrival/Departure procedures are adhered to.

Ideal candidate

Essential

  • Preferably a hotel management graduate/Equivalent degree.

  • Experience of working as Personal butler in 4/5 star hotel, for minimum of 2 years.

  • Should have pleasing personality.

  • Should have good command over written and spoken English.

Desirable

  • Arabic speaking will be advantage.

  • Age below 35 years.

Waiters

Reporting to:  Store Manager/Supervisor/team Leader

Waiter is responsible for assisting the Baristas for the cleaning, organising the dining area and the service counter area of the store, also performs  as a dishwasher during service/non-service hours, and he spends most of his time cleaning, organizing and arranging dishes in the back of the kitchen.

Job responsibility

  • Assist the baristas in keeping the Dining, service counter and the back area clean and ready for the service.
  • Help the barista in preparing the backup for the beverages and the food during the service hours.
  • Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to guest, and package take-out food.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars and keep records of the quantities of food used
  • Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas
  • Sweep and mop floors, and perform other cleaning duties to assist Baristas.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and in serving areas.
  • Remove soiled dishes from the table in the dining area once the guest as left and set up the table for the next guest.
  • Perform other duties such as scraping and stacking dishes, carrying linen to and from laundry area and running errands.
  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand.
  • Pots and pans, and may clean and polish silverware.
  • Wash work tables, cupboards and appliances.
  • Ensuring the restroom in the dining area for the guest are clean all the time and replenish with all the necessary amenities.
  • Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.

Bakers / Bakery Chef

Baker requires a lot of patience, skill, and creativity. It can also be very fulfilling and sense of achievement. A baker must have a basic understanding of nutrition, temperature, and how to blend different types of ingredients together. They are responsible for shaping and styling breads and desserts, while creating different types of sauces, fillings, creams and jellies.

 Baker’s responsibilities
  • Bakers must have strong organizational skills, because bakers are required to turn out huge quantities of product under tight time constraints. Bakers must understand basic yeast dough’s such as breads, laminated dough’s such as croissants or puff pastry, cookie and pastry dough’s, and a broad range of cake batters.

  • They must have the math or computer skills to recalculate standard recipes as needed, to produce the correct quantity of finished product. Above all, they need a flawless understanding of food safety and professional hygiene.

  • Baker primary role is to meet the day's production goals for baked goods that means preparing the dough’s, letting them rise, shaping them, proofing them, and finally baking and cooling them. Pastry bakers prepare or thaw their dough’s, then shape and fill them as needed. Cake, muffin and cupcake bakers measure their batters into the appropriate pans, using a scale or scoops of a known size to ensure consistency and portion control. Cookie baker’s measure dough onto sheets using standardized scoops, or press softer dough’s through a piping bag or cookie press.

  • A baker's production duties alternate with prep and cleaning duties. Among prep duties, for example, bread bakers might need to mix up a starter or a batch of sourdough. Muffin, cookie and cake bakers often mix up large batches of dough ahead of time, then store them in the walk-in for later use. They must be prepared and packaged according to food safety standards, then labeled and rotated through the cooler so they're used within an appropriate time frame.

  • Bakers must also ensure that ingredients are ready for use each day. This might include chopping fruit or nuts, pre-cooking a filling or sauce, thawing cartons of pasteurized eggs, or grinding spices.

  • Bakers should maintain strict and highest level personal hygiene and of the bakery as per the company standards.

  • Bakers should passion for quality, presentation and should be innovative.

  • As part of the Model Day, to complete the daily walk around and rectify/notify areas of noncompliance using the store Checklist as tool.

  • Should highly committed toward guest service, where politeness, knowledge and speed of service is of essence.

  • To attend work at designated shifts (time & attendance).

  • To attend team meetings as required. 

  • To complete all tasks required, and should be a great team player by helping the others and motivating.

Barista

The barista job description is describes a person who makes coffee and other specialty drinks in a coffee shop or kiosk.
