A leading Industrial bakery located in Ibadan, Nigeria is looking for MASTER BAKER.

    Full Time Basis OR Short Term Contract Basis (3 to 6 months) 

    Duties and Responsibilities: 
    • Coordinates with the production Manager on daily requirement for bread. 
    • Recipe formulation for packaged long shelf life Tin Bread and other bread types.
    • Troubleshooting for bread and dough inconsistencies.
    • Good knowledge of all raw materials and brands for the bakery industry.
    • Good knowledge of humidity and temperature requirements for baked bread.
    • Ensures good hygiene standards and GMP implementation.
    • Works on improvement of existing bread products. 
    • Recommends adjustment to specifications for final product development.
    • Assists in Creating and/or developing products relating to specific customer needs.
    • Coordinates with the R&D and the Marketing Department on new product development and provides technical input on shape, texture and taste profile.
    • Monitors baking process to identify needed adjustments. 
    • Trains and documents processes and procedures for bread making.
      Skills & Education:
      • Relevant experience in fully industrial high volume bakeries with emphasis on Tin Bread.
      • University or Technical diploma from reputed baking institute (Food Technology is a plus). 
      • Good knowledge of English. 
      • Adapts well in multicultural environment.
      • Ability to train other bakers. 
      • Good Knowledge of industrial machineries for the baking industry.
      • Candidates should be able to travel to NIGERIA within 60 days.
      • Experience in the GCC or West Africa is a plus.
