Senior Staff Electrical Engineer - IC Design (5 Openings)

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
Perform Analog & Digital IC circuit-designs using modern EDA tools: Cadence ADE/ADEXL, SpectreRF, & Verilog-AMS
Layout circuit designs and optimize for best performance.
Develop circuit block specifications in cooperation with systems engineers.
Define test plans, determine applicable specifications at the block level for the validation and certification phase, review and compile data into comprehensive reports 
Work with board level engineers to develop automated test systems to validate circuit designs
Determine areas of risks and determine technical mitigation tasks
Must be a team player and work well together with a multi-discipline team (EE, SW, ME)
Support the product team during integration of ICs and modules into the customers product
Good verbal & written communication skills. 
Candidate should be self-motivated, be willing to accommodate and adapt to rapid changes in goals. Skills in reading latest technical articles from Engineering societies such as IEEE and perform research is an advantage.
Some global travel may be required

BSEE required, MSEE preferred with a minimum of 5 years of wireless IC product development experience.
Analog circuit design experience in both sub-micron CMOS and SiGe bipolar technology
Experience in one or more of the following circuit types: analog baseband amplifiers, filters, ADC, DAC, synthesizers, LNAs,
frequency dividers or mixers.
The candidate must be proficient in the following engineering and computer tools: Windows 7/8 and Linux operating systems, Microsoft Office Tools(Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) or Google Apps/Docs

Sr Software Engineer (dsp) 

Job Description
To design, develop and improve wireless communication firmware running on embedded system
To design, develop and improve DSP algorithms for the receiving and transmitting of wireless signals
To design, develop and improve firmware for 2-way radios, or Android/iOS phones.
To evaluate the performance of wireless communication devices, including 2-way radios, in the lab as well as possible in the field
To conduct research, development and proof-of-concept works as specified by the engineering manager.

Bachelors/Masters/PhD Degree in Telecommunications/ Computer/ Electronics /Electrical or other related Engineering
Skilled in Matlab, C, C++ programming
Preferably having at least 5 years of related working / research experience
Understanding of / experience with various DSP blocks such as modulator/ demodulator, error correction encoder/ decoder, digital down mixing, and FIR/IIR filters
Understanding of principle of wireless communications, various channel impairments, multipath fading, communication protocols, transceiver architectures, analog and digital modulation schemes. 
Experience with Vector Signal Generator and Vector Signal Analyzer is desired but not a must.
