Role/Team Summary:
    Java 5+yrs experience; Spring; Hibernate; RDBMS e.g. Sybase, SQL Server, etc.; good core technical skills i.e. JSE, desirable high performance, concurrency and multi-threading;

    The application consists of a Java backend, Sybase database, and C# .Net client.
    To be successful in this position the candidate must: 
    o Demonstrate strong server-side Java (ideally Spring and Hibernate) and SQL skills
    o Contribute to the establishment and adoption of Agile oriented development processes, standards and best practices
    o Possess excellent problem solving skills
    o Be a strong collaborative team player

    Essential Experience: (Must have skills)
    Strong experience in development of server-side for high-performance Java applications
    Good knowledge of performance optimization techniques
    Solid test-driven development (TDD) skills
    Good experience with concurrency in Java
    Strong knowledge of relational database systems, preferably Sybase or Microsoft SQL
    Excellent communication skills
    Strong technical skills across the entire development life cycle analysis, development, testing and release/deployment
    Experience in Agile development methodologies and engineering best practices
    Effective team player
