Site Planning Engineers

  • Preparation of project L1 and L2 schedules and Network /SCurve/ Bar Chart matching with L1 and L2 schedules in consultation with concern Departments.
  • Preparation of Micro Level schedules based on L2 Schedule.
  • Project objectives are monitored through periodic review & updation of milestone schedules with highlighting backlogs.
  • Generation and circulation of various MIS reports pertaining to Project progress, Project budget, Monthly Bill projection, Exception reports, Monthly progress S-Curves, Rolling plans and participating in the review meetings of the same with the Senior Management.
  • Preparation and analyzing Daily progress reports, Monthly progress reports and following up with internal departments for resolution of critical issues and potential problem areas.
  • Preparation and control of documents list (Drawing and Document Schedule) and updating with current progress, forecast dates and revision status. 
  • Closely work with project managers and accommodate changes during the span of the project.
  • Reviewing and finalizing Contract schedules, Milestones and Resource mobilization plans in association with respective departments for supply as well as service contracts.
  • Periodic review meetings with vendors/ contractors are being conducted to ensure project compliance. 
  • Projection of monthly cash flow and follow-up for processing of invoices, which ensures better financial management.
  • Proactive inputs are being provided to site for material requirement forecasts. Close monitoring of procurement activities are being carried out to ensure timely deliverance of material.
  • Performing design reviews and assisting in development and implementation of quality assurance plan/ field inspections on assigned projects. 
  • Obtain approval of engineering documents and quality to maintain the project schedule.
  • Implementing actions decided by quality review meetings and Progress meetings.

  • Handling a commercial and contractual terms & conditions taxes, duties, payment terms etc.

  • Liaison with external agencies, clients, architects, Sub-contractors, & Consultants for determining technical specifications, approvals for execution & obtaining on-time clearances.

QA/QC Engineers

  • Responsible for all fabrication, erection and inspection activities of Mechanical BoP activities of Twin flue can chimney, Circulating Cooling Water system, Structural erection activities of Pipe rack assembly, Compressed air system for BTG, Fuel oil handling system, coordinate for Electrical and civil activities.
  • Inspection Coordination, Quality system and documents, 
  • Looking after all Quality related issues on projects with good interfacing in multiple disciplines. 
  • Approval of site weld schedules and Preparing Project specific Field Quality Plans, procedures etc.
  • Raise NCR for the activities not conforming to the Requirements. 
  • Implementation of the Project Quality Plan & Procedures. 
  • Follow up Non-conformance correction and corrective action procedures. 
  • Closely coordinate with project activities for timely document submissions.
  • Review the Project Requirements like Scope of Work Specifications Codes & 
  • Standards and extract Quality Requirements. 
  • Approval of Quality Plans forms suppliers considering applicable Codes, Technical specification requirements.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control activities, Non-Destructive Testing and Welding Inspection for Power projects as per the requirement of Indian and International Codes & Standards like ASME SEC I, SEC II, SEC V, SEC VIII Div I SEC IX SEC B 31.1, ASME B16.5, ASME B16.10, ASME B16.20, ASME B16.34, Applicable B.S. and ISO Standards etc.

Contract Management

  • Preparing Billing break up and get it approved by final customer. Coordinate with the procurement dept. to finalize Purchase Order line items in association with sub-vendors
  • Invoicing Preparing invoice for the supply, erection and service invoices, day to day coordination with client for invoice clearance, resolving any issue arises related to invoicing.
  • Coordinate with LC opening Bank, Client and Clients Consultant for resolving contractual issues if any arise at any stage of the project. 
  • MIS Reporting Cash Inflow-outflow, Price Variance Analysis, Cost Control/Cost Variance Reports, Budget Preparation etc.
  • Opening LCs, BG in coordination with F&A. Functioning as SPOC-Commercial and Contracts.
  • Marine Insurance Established Marine Insurance coverage for the project. The mode of transfer involved are by SHIP, BARGE, AIR and ROAD. Coordinate with Insurance Company (SBC, Bangladesh) for the issuing of Marine Policy for each consignment.
  • EAR Insurance Policy Coordinated with insurance company (Sadharan Bima Corporation, Bangladesh) and established Erection All Risk (EAR) Insurance policy for the project.
  • Risk Management and mitigation Application of Risk Management tool such as Monte Carlo, Severity-Probability matrix, etc. 
  • Clarifying and understanding the goal of all involved parties (Client, Consultant and EPC Contractors) and evaluating the needs to come up with the best solution and win-win scenario.
  • Day to day coordinating with local (Bangladesh) Logistic Support Provider (LSP) for Import and Indian LSP for the Export clearance of the project consignment coming by SHIP, BARGE, AIR and ROAD.
  • Preparing shipping documents like Invoice, Bill of Lading, Packing list, Certificate of Origin, Final Inspection Report, Undertaking etc. for each consignment importing for the project in Bangladesh.
  • Custom Clearance Coordinate for endorsement of shipping documents from Client and LC opening Bank for Custom Clearance. Ensure timely issuance of SRO-73/144 from the ministry required for the exemption of Custom duty.
  • Coordinate for the import of Re-exportable Material required for the Project. Ensure timely issuance of Import Permit (IP) by Ministry, BG to Customs, charter engineers certificate etc. 
  • Coordinate with CHA agent (BOXCO, KN-Harbour, SHR Group and Wilh. Loesch), LC opening Bank and Client for resolving export and import related issues.
