Position Title : Channel Sales Manager

    OBJECTIVE/ PURPOSE OF THE JOB
    The Sales Manager has full responsibility for the operation, development and contribution to profitability of the Department, for the assigned agency lines while working in close collaboration with Key Customers and if required, with the Principals. 
    The incumbent will be responsible also in coordinating the operation of the sales department by establishing territories, goals, and quotas for sales workers within his business units. 
    Reviewing market analyses to determine customer needs, sales volume potential, and pricing schedules that will meet company goals.

    INTERNAL/ EXTERNAL CONTEXT
    Internal:
    Works in a fast-paced broadly predictable sales environment, drawing on available financial and marketing intelligence, with predefined medium term goals and brand strategies
    External:
    Works in a broadly predictable customer environment
    The role will work within an evolving demographic and sales environment

    4. DECISION MAKING BOUNDARIES
    Decision making on forecasting and supply chain is done in coordination with the supply chain team
    Takes decisions within guidelines for resolving broadly predictable customer issues.
    As for complex issues like setting budgets, marketing spends and trade investments, that have significant impact on profits, need to be aligned and approved with next level of management

    impact at the business unit level (division) within the inventory, marketing and financial functions

    8. EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:
    A University graduate. Having MBA would be preferred
    Minimum 5 - 7 years of sales management of which 3 years managerial experience should have been in FMCG from internationally renowned brand portfolio or directly from Principals 
    Excellent presentation skills including communication and writing skills
    Excellent organizational skills
    With proven track record in sales and marketing
    Computer proficiency using MS Suite
    Functional knowledge of statistics and analysis
    Able to work in a multi-cultural and fast paced working environment
      Qatari driving license is a must.
