• Acts as the escalation point for client support for technical troubleshooting and bug fixing
  • Provides onsite support for client during testing and deployment of issues
  • Liaises with client test team and assists in technical troubleshooting
  • Configure and test the Vendor software in accordance with the functional and technical specifications and test procedures for issues raised during the maintenance phase
  • Creates test scripts for issues raised during the maintenance phase
  • Provides technical support on environment set up and installation/upgrades as well as Vendor software installation / upgrades
  • Conducts Vendor software installations/upgrades
  • Undertakes knowledge transfer to customer, supporting updates to end-user documentation as required
  • Conduct comprehensive defect and/or incidents investigations, diagnosis and resolution of MDM solution
  • Change software configuration settings
  • Conduct detailed diagnostics including the use of Software tools and test equipment
  • Perform complex operational activities
  • Work in collaboration with remote product support system experts and 3rd party system or service providers associated with the MDM solution including any escalated Incidents and/or defects
    • Fluent English skills in speaking and writing
    • Experience in working with international teams
    • Experience in working with remote teams
    • Experience in ICT enterprise systems integration
    • Experience installing softwares i.e. Oracle, Siebel, Tibco, Tomcat on UNIX and Windows platforms and maintaining several versions of the software in both virtual and hosted solutions
    • Experience with Web technology deployment, configuration and administration.
    • Experience with Enterprise Service Bus architecture
    • Unix navigation and system administration includes TCP/IP networking, security and management
    • Oracle 10G or higher and DBA best practices
    • Proficiency in PL/SQL, Packages, Triggers, Procedures
    • Understanding of Java web applications server technology specifically integration technologies including JMS / Web Services / Rest / SOAP / XML
    • Functional understanding of web presentation technologies, including ExtJS, HTML, CSS Javascript, etc.
    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
    • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    • Preferably Senior Engineer specializing in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent.
