Position: Business Development Manager

Work Location: Uganda

Key Responsibilities: At least 10-12 years working experience in Sales of which at least 8 years in IT sales with a reputed Systems Integration Company

The BDM primary role is to develop IT business in Uganda, increase visibility in the market place and improve business
Will be responsible for driving business goals as per the targets mutually agreed upon.
Business development. Identify and recommend solutions appropriate to customer needs and responsible for ensuring feasibility of solutions offered through detailed understanding of customer business requirements
Attend customer meetings to present complex information in an appropriate language to the customer, leveraging technical experience and know-how to help sales and deliver technical solutions
Actively engage Principles (like Cisco Systems, HP, Oracle, Dell etc) in gaining major share in the market place, work out complete business plan for business development and execute the same.
Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development;
Proactively or as advised attend internal and external training events to develop relevant knowledge and skills
Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills and is confident to deal with a wide variety of people and to influence at all levels.
An empathetic communicator who is able to see things from the other person perspective and who demonstrates effective listening skills.
Excellent presentation and training skills with the ability to deliver a message such that it generates learning and understanding.
