    To be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the cooking process in line with alfanar's corporate strategies and quality standards, whilst meeting employees, guests and management expectations. 
    The assistant Chef de Partie is responsible to work with the chef to do the assigned section of the kitchen, in order to prepare a consistent, high quality product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service that supports the outlets operating concept and alfanar standards.

    o Prepare with the chef an extensive range of regional Indian and Continental dishes, including appetizers, soups, curries, sauces, dressings, chutneys and bread.
    o Prepare with the chef and a range of Tandoori, Curry and other Asian dishes using the traditional techniques, herbs and spices.
    o Prepare and present with the chef and the kitchen team food for buffets and companys events
    o Ensuring relevant items and ingredients are available for production.
    o prepare the respective dishes and present it at the highest possible standards.
    o Works with cooks in the preparation and production process .
    o Follow up the department regulations, policies and procedures including but not limited to:

    Health and Safety
    We are looking for a well-organized and candidate with good cooking, communication and interpersonal skills. 
    In addition, the candidate should possess:
    Previous experience in the culinary field required
    Diploma Certification in a Culinary discipline an asset
    Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset
    good interpersonal and problem solving abilities
    Highly responsible & reliable
    Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
    Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
