Our client is a leading MNC in the outsourcing / ITES industry. The organization has a global presence - across all the major continents with employee strength of 10K+ globally. 


Job Role: 

This role entails looking after the end to end HR for Russia & CIS countries for the organization for a SBU of 3500 employees. The role reports to the CHRO who is based out of India functionally and administratively to the Business Head in Moscow (Indian).

The top management globally comprises of Indians predominantly (45%). The person would be required to travel within the Russia & CIS region as and when required. 

Experience of having worked abroad (out of India) in one of the career stint is essential, open to look at Distance Learning/Full Time MBA qualified candidates for the role.

Knowledge of Russian language is not essential for the role.

Responsible for developing and implementing the HR strategy for the organization and administration of the HR Policies / Processes in the assigned regions. 

Provide operational and strategic HR support to the Business Managers and Head- Human Resources

Key Responsibilities: 

  • HR Strategy & Policies Implementation
Support Head Human Resources in the design, planning, development and implementing of key HR initiatives.

Work with Business / Function Heads in execution of HR business plan / strategy; embed change into day-to-day working practice and organization culture so as to build a performance oriented organization.

Define and develop key HR objectives and generate HR strategies / policies which support the strategic requirements of the organisation and maximize the organization and people capability.

Plan and monitor the Human Resources Budgets for the region.

Develop and oversee process implementation and improvements to bring about profitability and effectiveness in the sphere of the following sub functions - Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development, HRIS, Gallup & other related Surveys and new Initiatives related to Human Resources.

Develop an Employee Relations strategy to deliver HR proposition through employee consultation, information events, and internal communications vehicles, interpretation of employee insight data, employment policies and involvement of internal stakeholders.

  • Business Performance
Provide HR operations support, incorporating risk management, controls and compliance.

Sponsor and review HR projects, services and policies ensuring that they are delivered to the Business to time, cost and quality standards.

Implement HR policies enabling business performance in the region.
  • Recruitment & Selection
Support team in development of innovative and effective means of assessing potential candidates so that the right person is selected for the job. 
Organize and conduct candidate interviews. Shortlist candidates and negotiate salary offer / terms of engagement.

Implement Talent Management initiatives and execute policies to retain high calibre talent.
  • Learning & Development
Ensure the training needs in the region are met.

Work along with Learning & Development team to strategize and plan learning programs for the employees in the region.

Lead the Learning & Development need analysis and co-own implementation of Learning & Development activities in the assigned regions.

Work with key stakeholders for implementation and roll-out of various organizational building initiatives in their respective regions.

Advice and assist Line Managers to implement the performance assessment program and in providing constructive employee feedback.

Implement Reward & Recognition programs in the regions and monitor progress / effectiveness of these initiatives.

Desired Skills and Expertise: 

1. Must be an MBA (either Full time or Part time / Distance Learning) with 12 15+ years experience in Business HR.

2. Mandatory requirement - must have worked abroad during the course of career / currently working abroad. 

3. Willing to relocate to Russia (Moscow).

4. Open for travel in the Russia & CIS region.

5. Knowledge of Russian language is not mandatory, Excellent spoken & written English is mandatory.
