General Manager - Retail and Ops. - Dubai

Salary: Up to 50,000 AED/ Month depending on experience

Our client is a leading player in the Middle East's retail interior scene, redefining the way that consumers in the UAE shop. They're offering great development programs, amazing offices and great team culture.

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Business projects, manage operations of Retail Business, improve customer satisfaction, deliver innovative capabilities and achieve sales targets.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

* Planning, Setting Up, Establish suppliers, build an employee team and develop business processes.
* Formulate strategies and policies and Ensure strong strategic and annual planning processes are in place to produce effective plans for approval by the Management.
* Prepare the budgets for the approval
* Business development - Develop markets, attracts new customers, add new products, explore and increase market share.
* Ensure the appropriate recruitment of staff to relevant positions.
* P&L - Finance, formulate the revenue and expense goals 
* Ensure that goals will be met through appropriate planning and organization of staff, inventory, and expenses for short and long term success 
* Maintain open and positive relations with all divisions of the Group 
* Develop and work with potential buyers to establish the acceptable inventory levels for the outlet.
* Ensure that Group policy and procedures are communicated in a timely manner and adhered to accordingly 
* Develop and support a positive attitude and Motivate and develop staff in order to encourage their professional development.
* Ensure that the outlet is in compliance with all the laws.
* Maintain safe working conditions for employees and customers; resolve safety concerns quickly.

Key Skills Required

* Successful track-record of managing a team and daily operations including walk-in retail operations
* Hunger to seek out new opportunities and pursue networks in order to achieve business growth for the business
* Commercial acumen - Run complete P&L cycle
* Business acumen - Knows competitors, reviews pricing on a regular basis, Price point.
* An out-of-the-box thinker with Leadership qualities.

Essential Requirements

* Minimum 5 years General Management experience with at least 4 years in a similar role
* Experienced in the Retail industry
* Solid background in Operations Management 
* Experience of operating in the diverse and vibrant environment.
