Develop, lead and procurement strategies
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Craft negotiation execute procurement strategies and close deals with optimal terms
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
Coordinate with Suppliers and determine quantity, quality and timing of deliveries
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works (Reviewing Purchase orders, Filing Purchase Orders, etc.).
Maintain the complete PO Records
Purchase and issue order in accordance to specified PO
Maintain the expected shipping dates and update in the system
Find new suppliers or sub-contractors as per requirement
Monitoring claims of vendors defectives, shortage and missing parts and report immediately.
Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers and sub-contractors
Assist in managing and following up overseas orders
Weekly/Monthly MIS for LPO process & pending cases to the top management & SCM Division
Experience in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation and projects related purchase is an added advantage
