Position: Senior Inventory & Fixed Asset Accountant (6- 10 yrs)

    Job Description

    Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
    Preference will be given to candidate having Masters in Materials Management or Supply Chain Management and/or MBA; or Masters in any discipline with diploma in Materials management or supply chain management.
    Supply Chain Management Professional Certification like CPIM, CSCP and CPSM preferred
    Five or more years of experience in Supply chain management and/or in Fixed Asset, preferably in Oracle Platform.
    Proven experience within a high volume Inventory or Fixed Asset environment
    Experience working with IFRS and accounting software
    Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
    A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook

    Bookkeeping of assets and records

    Perform asset bookkeeping related works such as identifying assets pending for Capitalization, validating them with the documents related to the asset, updating the records with transfers and retirements.
    Updating and keeping track of asset custodian forms.
    To ensure the asset tagging is up-to-date

    Reconciliation & Reporting:

    Monitor and report inventory and fixed asset transactions and develop inventory and fixed asset analysis reports.
    Coordinate overall monthly close process, including importing, reviewing and posting of journals.
    Reconciling various accounts of inventory and fixed asset to the general ledger.
    Generate periodical reports on inventory and fixed assets discrepancies and resolve.
    Perform asset capitalization process and procedure.
    Monitor the Slow moving, non-moving, obsolete and expired items.
