Urgent Opening for HR Officer - West Africa

    Position:- HR Officer

    Location:- Senegal, Burkina Faso, Mali

    Education:- Bachelors Degree in HR , Administration

    Experience :- 5 -10 years.

    Accommodation: Bachelors Status / Single will be provided by the Company

    JOB PROFILE:

    Summary of duties includes but is not limited to:

    Employee Life Cycle:

    Responsible to manage the whole employee life cycle (from recruitment to exit of employees)

    Recruitment & Departures:

    o Coordinate with travel agent for tickets for new joiners, employees going on leave
    and employees exiting the firm
    o Preparing respective forms (joining forms, transfer forms, departure/exit forms,
    conduct exit interviews, etc)
    o Collecting employee documents (passport copies, certificates, references, police
    clearance, medical certificates, etc)
    o Attending to various employee queries arising on a daily basis ad preparing weekly
    summaries to be shared with the Management
    o Coordinate with new employees to undergo 1-day orientation when joining the firm
    o Ensuring induction forms are singed off and sent/uploaded on the employee portal

    Attendance & Leave Management:

    o Track attendance of expat staff (get report from the attendance system, report any
    discrepancies)
    o Ensure leave procedure is being followed by all expat staff (collect the leave
    requests, maintain leave records/file locally)
    o Provide input to Group HR For payroll processing monthly

    Salary Processing:

    o Provide the Group HR with the relevant files (deductions and others for payroll
    processing on a monthly basis)
    o Ensure that all forms have been submitted on a timely basis for all new joiners and
    all employee departures/transfers

    Administration & Employee Welfare:

    o Ensure that the staff accommodations are properly maintained (follow up on the
    cleaning schedules)
    o Conduct random checks to ensure expats are properly maintaining their respective
    accommodations
    o Ensure that maintenance is carried out regularly for all accommodations
    (appropriate lightning, cleanliness, air conditioning, etc)
    o Providing recommendations based on employee suggestions to improve living conditions at the factories
    o Improving on/providing recommendations for dining/recreational areas
