We are urgently looking for PROCUREMENT MANAGER for one of our reputed client in OMAN

    JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
    Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineer 
    Minimum 15 - 20 years of experience in procurement department worked infrastructure & Construction projects and company 
    Gulf Experience will be added advantage
    The candidate should have experience and knowledge in finalizing the sub-contractors / service constructors with all the terms and conditions applicable
    The candidate should be familiar and worked in ERP environment 
    Strong negotiation skills 
    The candidate should be responsible for all the activities from the time of floating enquiries up to the delivery of procured items
    Responsible for and plans, organizes and manages the procurement process for all projects.
    Ensures that the procurement process is in adherence to company and client requirements, company policies and procedures to ensure successful delivery of project requirements
    Interface with other departments and vendors for all matters related to the procurement of Projects materials, equipments and services scope
    Supervise all Procurement activities associated with the effective purchasing of Project requirements by the Procurement Department in accordance with Project or end user schedules, specifications and budgets.
    Develop and maintain a commercially sound Vendor base, survey the market for new supply sources including non-traditional ones and maintain Project Approved Vendor List.
    Evaluate Supplier / vendor performance on continuous basis.
    Monitor and review market conditions and price & delivery trends for Project materials and equipments
