    ATTAINS STEADY BUILD-UP OF DAILY PERFORMANCE INTO MONTHLY CORPORATE TARGETS AND INTO ANNUAL CORPORATE GOALS, AND ULTIMATELY INTO THE VISION

    Developing and implementing short- and long-term plans to ensure that production has the necessary resources to meet business objectives and volume targets without disruption;
    Planning, scheduling and directing the production program of the company towards meeting company targets;
    Coordinating with Finance Department the establishment of strategies, plans and budgets, and the set- up of planning, monitoring and review systems;
    Substantiating plans and budgets into objectives, metrics, and initiatives
    Controlling day-to-day performance in manufacturing through a periodic review of progress against plans and targets;
    Initiating necessary corrective/ preventive action to put underperformance on track;
    Anticipating issues and challenges, and formulating alternatives and contingency plans.

    OPTIMIZES INTERNAL EFFECTIVENESS 

    Setting up directional guides for the effective and efficient conduct of internal business processes that produce and deliver the products to the markets;
    Initiating the establishment of systems and procedures and compliance review system that are based on policies and anchored on corporate values;
    Initiating the continuing rationalization, resource complementation and documentation of systems, procedures and structures;
    Developing corrective/ preventive measures to make systems and procedures more effective and efficient;

    ACHIEVES EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY IN THE USE AND DEPLOYMENT OF COMPANY RESOURCES

    Managing plant operation towards producing quality products at lowest possible cost and highest process efficiency;
    Directing the entire factory operation towards complying with customer specifications of quality, quantity and delivery time, and meeting company standards of efficiency, effectiveness, economy, health, hygiene, safety and security;
    Developing all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that the facilities and equipment are effectively maintained to ensure maximum production efficiency;
    Developing and monitoring all necessary systems and procedures to ensure the continued efficient supply of materials and utilities;
    Developing the companys engineering strategy and ensuring that all maintenance standards are adhered to by the staff and the technicians;
    Monitoring and reviewing all engineering processes, documentation, tools, plant and computer software to ensure that these operate effectively and are appropriate to meet production targets;
    Managing all plant personnel to ensure that they are appropriately motivated, trained and developed, and are able to carry out their responsibilities to the required standards and statutory requirements;
    Facilitating the employment and directing the training, coaching, mentoring and development of personnel;
    Ensuring smooth factory operation based on preventive measures and all-time readiness for corrective action should problems arise;
    Reviews job and process costs to ensure that the plant operation remains within budgetary benchmarks on a regular basis.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    - Minimum of 5 years experience in a personal care and home care manufacturing company
    - Preferably a licensed chemical or mechanical engineer
    - Working knowledge of OSHA, ISO, Manufacturing TPM is a plus
    - Knowledge of management principles and supervision techniques
    - Ability to plan and organize the activities of others
    - Ability to get ideas accepted and to lead others
    - Flexibility to modify leadership styles and adapt appropriate management approach to achieve goals and objectives
    - Familiar with strategic planning and execution
    - Change Management
    - Re-engineering operations and procedures
    - Formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
    - Analyzing and interpreting production cost
    - Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
    - Demonstrate creative and critical thinking skills
    - Work on multiple projects simultaneously
    - Strong communication and presentation skills
    - Ability to express ideas clearly both in oral and written communications
