Senior Sales & Marketing Executive

Reporting to : Sales & Marketing Head

Experience: 
Minimum 5-7 years relevant sales and marketing experience. Exposure to African market is a benefit.

Job Role: 
1. Develop the sales and marketing plans / forecasts in line with allocated budgets.
2. Design the sales promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
3. Measure the promotion effectiveness and make adjustments in line with changing customer tastes.
4. Create a consistent product brand image to all stakeholders in the country.
5. Control the channel partners and ensure their performance in line with the approved budgets.
6. Meets with key clients and grow the business relationship.
7. Assist sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
8. Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
9. Responsible for collections of receivables in the set time-frame.
10.Train the local & expatriate staffs in due course of your employment.
11.Any other duties as directed by your superiors.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:


1) Ability to work well under time pressure.
2) Able to deliver as per set deadlines.
3) Flexible working hours as per demand from the assignment.
4) Ability to travel to various locations of the company.
5) Should be fluent in English.
6) Willing to relocate to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
7) Exposure to CRM, SAP would be an added advantage.
8) Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Sales & Marketing Head

Reporting to: GM

Experience:

Minimum 15 years relevant sales and marketing experience with exposure to the Steel Manufacturing Industry. Exposure to African market is a benefit.


Job Role:

1. Develops and implements strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives.
2. Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
3. Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
4. Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
5. Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotion materials, and events.
6. Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
7. Sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
8. Guidance for market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
9. Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
10.Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
11.Reviews and analyzes sales performances against Budget, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
12.Efficiently manage and coordinate operation and sales planning between factories and head office.
13.Integrated inventory planning with production and sales planning to best utilize existing inventory and to accurately forecast future inventory requirements.
14. Analyze profit margin by product, geography, channel and other dimension.
15. Responsible for performance appraisal of marketing and sales staff for providing them training and development opportunities.
16. Responsible for credit management, collection and fund planning.
17. Train the local & expatriate staffs in due course of your employment.
18. Any other duties as directed by your superiors
