- Provide information to Management on accidents/incidents in a timely manner according to established procedures of BOS
Ensure implementation of QHSE Programs such as: SMART Program, Job Safety Analysis, Permit to Work System, Lock-Out/Tag-Out System, Hazardous Chemical-MSDS, PPE System, Lifting Equipment Management System, Benchmarking etc.
Maintain Rig Internal Audit Schedule.
Conduct Internal Rig Audits and report findings to rig and area management
Monitor close-out of action items identified during internal audits.
Conduct follow-up audits to monitor close-out of items identified during internal audit
Provide Office with feedback on close-out of action items identified during Office audits.
Assist Office auditors during audits in the area
Lead/administer the benchmark program at the operation level.
Prepare local benchmark presentation and distribute to area and rig personnel.
Update QHSE procedures & standards to the field
- Technical degree.
Diploma in Safety Management or qualification from IOSH or NEBOSH or similar reputed organization.
Certificate lead auditor/internal auditor.
Advanced computer skills.
Formal training in Incident investigation and report writing preferably certification in Taproot Investigation.
Minimum three to five years experience as a QHSE professional in the Oil & Gas industry.
Minimum two years safety auditing experience
