      Business Planning
      Recommend yearly marketing, sales, operating and overhead budgets for review and approval of the management and prudently manage organization's resources within the budget guidelines and according to policies. 
      Propose pricing structures for various channels and recommend to the management 

      Anticipate the needs and wants of consumers and satisfy these more effectively than competitors 
      Study characteristics of various market segments, focusing on number of variables that may differ among the segments. 
      Seek & continuously develop knowledge about competitors' activity, pricing, tactics, relative strengths and weaknesses 
      Conduct product launch and promotion activities

      Business development 
      Drive business growth through identification & penetration of new market segments.
      Explore new business opportunities and expand market base with new customers. 

      Key Account Management 
      Identify key/institutional accounts, penetrate and retain them to secure profitable business. 
      Maintain strong relationship with key decision makers and buyers. Give product presentations to their relevant team members appraising them of the brand superiority

      Preparation of departments sales forecast, annual budget and sales analysis

      Explore overseas markets, identify suitable importers and appoint Distributors on assessment of their capabilities to meet corporate objectives. 
      Guide the distributors to perform in a professional manner in areas of orders forecast, inventories, distribution, market coverage, retailing, merchandising & product visibility


      Develop sales & marketing strategies to penetrate untapped / virgin segments within the assigned territory and achieve annual targets in the existing marketing base.

      Experience : 15-18 years of experience in Retail Sales / Distribution preferably in 
      professionally managed organizations within the Specified countries.

              Integrate marketing and sales efforts, key focus areas of Product management including product launches, product pricing, annual budgeting / forecast, push and pull schemes, product line support for the sales team and assimilation of market / competitor information. Provide business line support for planning marketing program, channel support, and sales support. Interact with sales, product development, customer service, to ensure that the marketing collateral accurately reflects benefits and features from every user perspective and persona. Define and deliver a product-marketing plan that combines an in-depth understanding of the market, competitive and consumer for a group of products. 


              Product Line Support
              Define product development strategy and roadmap
              Conducting regular product briefing and review meetings for enabling the sales readiness of the team.
              Internal and external communicator for the product lines / positioning.
              Provide product positioning training and materials for sales department and customer service.
              Tracking, analysis and interpretation of product-wise movement for identifying and taking corrective action for improvement in sales.

              Plan and implement regular push / pull schemes based on events / to improve slow moving products / increase turnover of a region or outlet.
              Motivate the team by planning annual / periodic push incentive schemes for all levels of the sales team.

              Budgeting / Forecasting
              Annual Budgeting Productwise for the coming year in consultation with the sales team and management.
              Forecast of New Product Requirements for the coming financial year.

              Market / Competitor Information
              Generate market intelligence reports
              Completing competitive analysis and providing insights to Line Manager.
              Assimilate and act on market / competitor information.
              To regularly identify and participate in events and exhibitions as part of the marketing effort.
