    Leading the Firms technical department, successful candidate will provide a full range of support in the maintenance of technical competence within the Firm.

    Roles and responsibilities 
    • Provide technical support to audit teams including, inter alia, handling technical enquires, providing views on Hong Kong and International Standards relating to accounting, auditing, assurance and ethics, and performing technical reviews
    • Maintain and update the Firms quality control manual and audit manual
    • Conduct monthly technical meetings for audit directors and managers
    • Write articles and other materials relating to new and revised accounting and auditing standards for publishing on the Firms website or other social media platforms
    • Assist in the Firms training programs for audit staff
    • Perform peer reviews for other PKF overseas offices

    Qualifications and required attributes 
    • CPA or Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 10 years post qualification experiences in technical and training works gained in a professional practice, a national/international standard-setter or a professional accountancy body is required
    • Strong technical and analytical skills in professional standards on accounting, auditing, assurance and ethics
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Good command of Mandarin would be an advantage
