    • Masters Degree in Business Management, preferably Agribusiness or equivalent
    • Degree in Agricultural engineering 

    • The Business Manager is in-charge of assigned portfolio of Agrimachinery, implements and parts in respective territory; responsible for driving business performance through effective planning, organising, controlling and directing territory resources, activities and facilities towards achieving business goals including profitability, sales volume and revenue, cost management, clientele, service excellence and stock control. Manages territory team members in various branches including sales, service, stock and administration to ensure effective work performance and orderliness

    • Identifies, analyses and commercialises agromachines), sales leads (for tractors, combine harvesters and other implements) to close deals and support sales performance within the territory through various initiatives including referrals from existing customers, exhibitions, events etc 
    • Works to strengthen relationships and partnerships with clients, (existing and potential) and other stakeholders within the territory to enhance business performance
    • Aids business development efforts to identify, recommend and execute agreed initiatives to capitalize on new markets, growth areas, products and services improvement, diversification and expansion
    • Aids marketing efforts through research, competitor activities and market trends analysis to support overall marketing strategy planning and execution
    • Drives customer service excellence by putting in place mechanisms to coach and train team members, timely response to complaints and corrective action implementations
    • Champions provision of technical services to ensure adequate maintenance and service support is availed to customers

    • Tracks, analyses and reports territory business and tem members performance progress on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis for onward submission to senior management 
    • Administrates the branches to ensure compliance to standards, policies and best practices for all employees assigned in each branch or in field operations
    • Builds and develops team members, playing a key role in recruitment, training and development, performance management and disciplining
    • Manages product inventories to ensure timely availability, ordering and delivery to branches to meet available demand
    • Liaison person with product supplier to support product ordering, delivery and customer feedback in terms of quality issues, warranties, product performance etc 


    At least 7 years sales experience in agrimachinery and implements, international exposure is an added advantage
    At least 4 years previous experience at management level
    Agricultural Engineering/technical service support background is preferred
