1. Position : General Accountant (ACCA or CPA qualified)
Job Location :  Bahrain
Skills / Qualifications:
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience in Industrial services, Contracting, real estate and property management companies.
  • Worked in audit firms or well recognized international companies.
  • Work as accountant covering the accounts and finance function of company.
  • Must have practical knowledge of accounting softwares (Oracle, Telly etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, with ACCA / CPA
  • ACCA/ CPA is must before sending CVs, Indian CPA is not acceptable.
  • Demonstrate skills in both written and oral presentations (English and Hindi).
  • Ability to efficiently interact with senior management.
  • Demonstrate skills, knowledge and experience in the design and maintenance of excel work sheets.
  • Strong in drafting letters towards banks and insurance.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Posting of payment, receipt, sales invoices and journal vouchers.
  • Preparation of monthly payroll for workers.
  • Prepare monthly and annual accounts of company and the preparation of other reports provided to management.
  • Supervise Real estate business financial aspects and keep up to date books of accounts.
  • Record and review advances to employees and subsequent deduction from salaries.
  • Supervise/ reconcile and recording of petty cash vouchers.
  • Maintain vehicles entire documents and supervising insurance related matters of all fixed assets and projects.
  • Preparation of VAT invoices and coordinate for certification of invoices
  • Coordinating with HR for maintaining employment related benefits records and posting entries in GL 
  • Analysis and review of internal controls system, highlighting areas where controls are weak and suggesting corrective measures to be taken
  • To lead the efficient and successful VAT implementation within the group companies through a structured approach.
  • VAT filing and other compliance matters
  • Act as main source of knowledge and advice for VAT matters to staff.
  • Maintain VAT accounts for company, process payments on timely basis and ensure refunds are received within reasonable time.
  • Dealing with banks and insurance companies for all finance matters correspondence.
  • Reviews and approves work such as tenant credit memos, non-recurring tenant billings and questionable cash receipts for entry by Accounting Clerks.
  • Prepares tenant account analysis and reconciliations when tenants dispute charges to their accounts.
  • Calculates and enters monthly contract item accruals such as janitorial, security and utility expenses to match expenses to period incurred, and review trial balance for reversing of same entries in next accounting period.
  • Prepares balance sheet tie-out to balance the general ledger and commercial management systems.
  • Maintain vehicles entire documents and supervising insurance related matters of all fixed assets and projects.
  • Any other responsibility as per line manager and management instruction
