Responsible for assisting with the network operations of the company's internal world-wide communications systems, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs).
Act as the network team's front line operations monitoring and reporting staff.
Function as tier 1 or tier 2 networking help desk. Should have good communication skills and ability to handle the customers.
Perform first line troubleshooting of network issues.
Monitor and correct compliance issues for device configurations
Monitoring networks circuits, troubleshooting outages, contacting ISPs, providing outage notifications, following escalation policies, etc.
Perform firmware / OS upgrades on routers, switches, firewalls, access points and other devices in accordance with company needs.
Observe and report network usage trends
Review circuit and device capacities and recommend actions to the Global Network Manager.
Interface with ISP and carriers to install/commission/test new circuits and/or troubleshoot existing circuits.
Occasional on-call duties may be required. Skills & Experience Required: (Desired/Preferred skills are noted)

BS or BA degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent education, training or work experience.
Proven competence in the development, implementation and maintenance of complex network systems with 3 to 5 years' experience in a networking enterprise environment.
Excellent communications skills with domestic and international English speakers is required .
Experience with global enterprise networks is required.
CCNA - Routing and Switching or CCNA - Security - required .
CCNP Routing and Switching greatly preferred
Other industry certifications / training is greatly desired (examples, CEH, CISSP, MCP, etc)
Experience with several of the following technologies is required :
Switching - Cisco IOS/Nexus, VLANs, STP/RSTP, CoS, QoS, Ether-channel/Trunking,etc
Experience with Cisco routers and switches is required , experience with Dell switches is desired .
BGP, EIGRP, HSRP or VRRP, PBR, etc.
Direct Internet Access (DIA), Point to Point circuits (PTP), MPLS, MetroEthernet, etc.
IOS/ASA based L2L and Client access VPN, Knowledge of DMVPN
Working knowledge of Silver Peak SD-WAN solutions desired .
Knowledge of wireless solutions 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, etc. and other new/emerging standards is preferred
Wireless network design and administration required, experience with AeroHive wireless solutions is greatly desired
Authentication solutions including Cisco ACS/RADIUS/TACACS /Certificates(PKI) greatly desired
Network troubleshooting using packet capture and analysis using tools such as Wireshark
Experience with Aerohive wireless systems is preferred .
Experience with SolarWinds monitoring/management products is greatly preferred ; experience with other monitoring systems may be substituted based on experience level.
