Supervisor- Herd/ Yard/ Feeding/ Feed Mixing/ Shift/ Young Stock
  • To ensure smooth functioning of dairy/Farm.
  • Focusing on the young stock health and well being.
  • Proper mixing of fodder and timely feeding of livestock.
  • Ensure smooth feeding operations.
  • Management of milking operations,CIP and tanker dispatch.
  • Diagnosis and treatment of clinical mastitis.
  • Ensure the agreed milking parlour maintenance routine is carried on as schedule and documented. 
  • To ensure smooth milking operations during the shift at the farm,clean hygienic milking parlour,quality/quantity, teat spraying,dealing with Veterinarian's.
Required Candidate profile
  • Familiarity with dairy farm conditions and equipment used in feed preparation and feeding livestock.
  • Must be alert, strive for accuracy, and have ability to exercise independent thinking and judgment, be a self- motivator, and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of the Middle East culture  
  • Participate in management and supervisory meetings as and when required.
  • Added advantage of special training in livestock management/ Agriculture degree .
  • Ability to work in adverse climatic conditions.
  • Smart Personality to supervise in timely conditions.      

Technician- Cow Cooling/ Maintenance/ Mechanical

  • This position is responsible for the overall care, maintenance, and general operation of Cooling system and/or misting fans used for cooling the dairy cow barns. 
  • The Cooling system and/or misting fans placed in dairy cow barns or outdoor facilities help drop core temperatures in cows, reducing the chance for heat stress.
  •  Install electrical apparatus, water pressure lines, filters, fixtures and equipment for Misting systems and/or misting fans.
  • Maintain safety and distribution components (e.g. motors, nozzles, switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
  • Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.
  • Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
  • Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
  • Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.     
Required Candidate profile
  1. Diploma in relevant vocational training and successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.

  2. Keen knowledge and understanding of the components used in the cooling system.

  3.  Skilled in diagnosis and repair of cooling systems at the farm.
  4. Demonstrable ability to use electrical, plumbing, mechanical and hand tools.
  5. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
  6. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  7. Must be alert, a self- motivator, and attention to detail Integrity, discretion and loyalty

Stockman - Health/ Breeding

  • To ensurer that themating/artificial insemination, heat detection & Hormonal Protocols are followed.
  •  The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the cow get timely pregnant.
  •  Breeding stockman shall also perform the Dry off cows. 
  • Ensuring that the milking herd is well looked after with adequate feed and care and the yard is well maintained and properly cleaned to maintain prescribed hygiene standards        
Required Candidate profile
  •   Familiarity with dairy farm conditions and equipment used.
  • Basic skill for operating equipment and carrying out daily tasks
  • Intimate knowledge of nutrition requirement for different categories of livestock to administer feed budget.
  • livestock lifecycle to oversee adequate care and supervision during mating, calving and calf rearing/recovery from calf birth
  • Ability to deal with operational challenges
  • Excellent written & verbal communication / presentation skills
  • Team player with excellent motivational Skill.
  • Must have special training in livestock management and artificial insemination.
  • Level 4 certificate in agriculture (dairy farm) preferred

Milking Parlor- Technician/ Supervisor

  1. Day to day Maintenance of all milking equipment,milk chillers &CIP equipment.

  2. Maintain agreed key milk quality targets&report any issues that could compromise milk quality.
  3. Strive to improve technical &parlor operational efficacy & report issues in a timely manner. 
  4. Ensure the agreed milking parlor maintenance routine is carried on as scheduled & documented.
  5. Make sure veterinary drugs &parlor CIP chemicals are handled, used & stored in accordance with label recommendations
  6. Ensure best practices in animal handling, welfare & milk quality are consistently achieved
  7. Submit purchase requisitions for all milking parlor consumables in a timely manner

Required Candidate profile
  • Good motivational & leadership skills.
  • Effective planning & delegation skills
  • Strong communication skills with a confident & presentable personality.
  • 10 years of experience in dairy farm.
  • Ability to provide instruction & feed back to parlor staff to ensure a high level of milk quality & operational efficiency.
  • Ability to maintain the required targets. 
  • Added advantage of having training certificates / workshops attended

Milker- Lead Milker

  • Required to manage the milkers in using the equipment appropriately to milk the cows while ensuring hygiene and taking care to handle the cows properly.
  •  Set up and distributing milking parlor
  • Mark start and stop times for each pen when no meters are installed.
  • Make sure treated cows are properly marked, milk is properly disposed.
  • Change milk filters according to the dairy's protocol. A good goal is to change filters every 3 to 4 hours of milking
  • .Observe milkers to make sure they are performing the proper milking routine.
  • Communicate issues or repair items to the dairy manager or owner.
  • Check the cooler to make sure it is on and cooling properly
  • Milk cows in an orderly and consistent manner,after milking, make sure all equipment sanitation procedures are followed.
  • Check all bleed holes for manure plugs/clogs,air tubes, milk tubes.           

Required Candidate profile
  1. Should have basic understanding of milking procedures.
  2. Keen knowledge and understanding of the components used in the milking parlour.
  3.  Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
  4. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  5. Must be alert, a self- motivator, and attention to detail
  6. Integrity, discretion and loyalty . 
  7. Proven experience of 5 years in dairy/farm

Veterinary- Assistant/ Surgeon

  • Responsible for animal health & well being, ensuring that illness is detected early, and proper treatment is administered to the livestock . 
  • Diagnose and treat animals for medical conditions.
  • Ensure moving and handling animals is done in an acceptable, quiet and calm way.
  • Ensure all pre-breeding cows/heifers are ready to breed on time.
  • Ensure Artificial Insemination is carried correctly and timely.
Required Candidate profile
  1. Must be alert, strive for accuracy, and have ability to exercise independent thinking and judgment, be a self- motivator, and attention to detail.
  2. Good Decision making and  Problem solving Skills.
  3. Skill to diagnose. 
  4.  Must be comfortable around large animals.    
  5.  Must treat animals with kindness and respect and must be sensitive when dealing with sick livestock.
  6. Strong understanding of the Middle East culture .
  7. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
