  • Position Summary:
  • The eCommerce Developer will ensure that Ecommerce operations are managed and will develop and deploy new and meaningful digital functionality. This role will be integral in working with other internal Teams to keep Suam Hardware Ltd in the leading service position among other wholesale and retail marketplaces.
  • Key responsibilities:
  • Develop, support and maintain ecommerce system for Suam group of companies
  • Fulfillment and coordination of requests and strategies as per business needs/requirements including testing, analyzing, modifying and validation of the ecommerce system
  • Produce and maintain detailed documentation for assigned tasks and projects
  • Work with IT, marketing, and operations to develop an ecommerce ecosystem that meets current and future business objectives
  • Interacts extensively and builds strong relationships with vendors, leadership, internal customers, and IT staff
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Conduct technology benchmarking and industry analysis to define the strategic direction.
  • Conduct code review sessions.
  • Work to consistently improve internal processes targeted towards continuous improvement.
  • Other tasks as determined by management
  • Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
  • 3-6+ years Ecommerce experience, preferably with a global company, most of which was spent in development
  • Solid knowledge of ecommerce software, middleware, and databases (WebSphere v8, Magento, Shopify, Oracle Commerce Cloud)
  • Experience utilizing and/or administering application and web tier systems (e.g. WebSphere Application Server)
  • Must be proficient across the entire enterprise development software life cycle.
  • Experience in digital marketing & SEO
  • Must possess excellent verbal / written communication.
  • Must be able to build relationships and communicate effectively to management and developers. Must be able to summarize complex concepts into understandable concepts and actions.
  • Strong IT project management experience (Agile, Waterfall, and/or SCRUM)
  • Skill and hands-on experience in requirements definition and analysis
  • Proven abilities in problem management and process analysis
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
