 The Mohinani Group is looking for Admin Cum Accounts Officer (Only Male Candidate) for our African Operations, located in Freetown – Capital of Sierra Leone, Africa.

The JD is as follows: -


Principal Responsibility:


Responsible for

  • Maintaining Book Keeping & Accountancy
  • Evaluate All Purchase & Sales Invoices
  • Track Records Of Receipts & Payments
  • Preparing Bank Reconcilation - Reconcile bank records with bank statements
  • Evaluate,Tax Invoices, etc
  • Evaluate All Assets & Liabilities And Preparing Profit & Loss Account as well as Balance Sheet
  • Preparing MIS for every month after making necessary closing entries.
  • Preparing profit and loss statement as per cost centre or project wise
  • Provide administrative support.
  • Maintain and manage office administrative expenditure.
  • Maintain, verify and rectify customer balances in accounts receivable records.
  • Correspond with customers having long overdue and delinquent balances.
  • Check and verify vendor bills before making payment advice.
  • Maintain and manage inventory control of materials and supplies.
  • Maintain bank deposits and check payment records.
  • Provide accounting and administrative support to external audit teams if and whenever required.
  • Integrate administrative and accounting functions smoothly.
  • Liaise with customers on billing issues.
  • Inputting invoices from suppliers into System.
  • Liaise with suppliers on discrepancies in invoices.

Any other ad-hoc duties as required.


Educational Qualifications: Commerce Graduate


Knowledge and Experience:

  • Candidates with administrative experience will also be considered.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
  • Good Attention to detail and ability to identify errors.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good excel and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, commercially focused environment and able to adapt to change quickly.
  • Disciplined approach to production and documentation of work.
  • Good accounting software knowledge.

Key Competencies:

  • Excellent in written and spoken English communication.
  • Ability to interact with senior level (Shareholders/CEO/CFO) executives.
  • Attention to details. Ability to understand & draft/ structure legal documents.
  • Good working experience in MS - Excel, Word and Power point presentations.

Other Requirements: International Travel, whenever required. Person should be ready to travel to Africa. Should hold a valid passport.


Experience: 4 to 8 years
