The Roles and Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager (BDM) are as follows;
Identify sales leads, pitch product and services to the prospective clients, manage and maintain a strong and healthy relationship with the customers.
Represent the company and the group in a public setting and convince prospective customers to switch their allegiance.
Responsible for new business development, creating and crafting sales and marketing techniques.
Ensure that the customers are contacted regularly and given importance.
Train and manage a team of executives in helping them carry out all the above activities as a support system.
Desired Candidate Profile
Someone with prior experience in the transportation and logistics industry or possesses exceptional business development and sales acumen. Should be willing to travel abroad and move around for canvassing. Should be capable in securing new customers and ensuring sales immediately. Must possess very good English knowledge and be able to converse with ease
