Roles and Responsibilities

- To develop reliable and sustainable sources for procurement of assets and consumables.

- Develop Local vendors for emergency Requirement.

- Communication with Overseas suppliers i.e. India, China, Portugal

- Compare, negotiate and seek approval for placing order.

- Plan inventory holding and arrange placement of orders.

- Maintain data and information related to procurements, consumption trends, cost trends etc.

- Maintain data base of expiries, warranties etc. and ensure they are optimally used.

- Coordinate with all departments for their requirements.

-Overall ensure best cost buying

e. Sound understanding of IT systems and Process driven procurement to payment cycle.

Qualification

Graduate / Post Graduate degree preferably in Commerce / Business Administration with adequate exposure to purchasing/procurement/sourcing


Required Skill Set

Experience in sourcing and negotiations.
