We are looking for Production Technicians who can help us operate machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions. The individual will work as part of a team to ensure the smooth and safe running of the production line and achieve production targets. The individual will be working within a high care class 100 environment and so adhering to health, safety and hygiene policies is of the upmost importance.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
To carry out pre-checks and cleaning tasks of the production line. • Set the machine to production recipes.
Preparing raw materials for production.
Replenishing packaging and films to the production line during the shift including the stacking of trays.
Set up batches of production as per the production plan.
Manual handling including the stacking of finished goods.
Maintain the hygiene of equipment.
Completing documentation throughout the shift.
Replenish the PH.
Record downtime and work with the team to help minimise this.
Resolve machines stoppages.
Achieve OEE and waste targets.
Work as part of a team.
Maintain health and safety and always adhere to policies and procedures.
Contribute to and help implement continuous improvement, to enhance quality, efficiency, safety, and waste reduction
Help & assist in the training of others and identify own training needs.
Ensuring the required materials are available for production, and that the factory is safe for all workers.
Inspecting machinery and reporting any faults to management and workers.
Identifying faults and troubleshooting wherever possible.
Analysing performance and products, then making suitable recommendations.
Scheduling training sessions and refresher workshops as required.
Establishing high-quality standards and ensuring they are implemented by workers.
Regularly educating staff members on health and safety regulations.
Implementing preventative maintenance methods.
Staying up-to-date with efficient methods of production and equipment maintenance procedures.
Any other ad-hoc duties as required.
Desired Experience & Certification:
Proven experience working in similar role within a plant or food manufacturing environment
Certification in basic food hygiene and manual handling practices
Health and safety awareness
Ability to follow instructions and use own initiative
Proficient in English (speaking, reading, listening and writing)
Excellent communication skills
Be a Team player
Should have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
