Due to increased demand, plus an expanding portfolio of collaboration tools, low code application software, engineering design and simulation software, we are looking for experienced salespeople to join our high performing sales team. These exciting roles will include new name selling as well as managing and upselling into our existing account base. PROLIM Technologies specializes in the supply, support and training of advanced software that addresses the research, design, analysis, simulation and testing requirements of engineering, consulting and manufacturing companies, including government agencies and defense organizations. The roles are based in our Melbourne (Moorabbin) office, but candidates located in Sydney or Brisbane should also apply. Both junior and senior roles are available.

PROLIM Technologies represents the Siemens software portfolio in Australia and New Zealand and the products include the Siemens NX CAD suite, Siemens Simcenter suite, Siemens Teamcenter and Siemens Solid Edge


The ideal candidates will be a qualified mechanical or structural engineer, with ideally several years experience in industry as an engineer using engineering CAD and CAE tools, plus a minimum of 2 or 3 years experience in a sales or business development role. However, applicants that have a drive to succeed in sales but do not have all the ideal requirements should also apply.

The role will include creating and executing account plans for a group of existing PROLIM customers plus new name business development in a given geographic territory. Typically, the sales cycle includes presentations and demonstrations both online and face to face, plus the creation of quotes and proposals as required. You will have the full backing of a support team, to assist in configuring solutions, delivering and creating relevant information and demonstrations.


The current changing technological landscape requires the candidate to keep abreast of challenges faced by our existing clients and prospects alike so that the promotion of SIEMENS Simulation, CAD and Collaboration tools can be made. Being able to deep dive into an account and find stakeholders and ascertain their individual challenges is critical for the success of the candidate.


As this role is a highly communicative one, strong English (both spoken and written) is vital.


The role may include travel locally and interstate, so a full drivers license is essential.
