Produce engineering drawings based on the given CAD model.
Prepare programs for the CNC machines
Provision of detailed setup and tooling sheets.
To ensure all CAD files and programs have been updated.
Involve in resolving quality problems during CNC milling.
Collate, record, and transcribe data.
Able to use programming software.
Ensure that the program meets certain production goals
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications of prototypes and tools • Plans, setup, modifies, optimizes & monitors the manufacturing process by working with CNC setters/machinists to ensure all products & jobs are manufactured accordingly
Maintain quality output and safety standards.
Perform troubleshooting during the manufacturing process.
Significant Experience with 3 and 4 axis milling and CNC lathe, and ideally with a good understanding and experience using Mastercam or alternate CAD CNC programming Software
Ability to operate vertical and horizontal mills and Lathe
Experience as a skilled machinist, with the ability to test new programs on actual parts, understanding of correct Feeds/Speeds, etc.
