Ya-Nur Trading company Sdn Bhd was established as an enterprise in December 2001 with a small convenient shop in Lumut, Kuala Belait district in Brunei Darussalam. In the year 2010 company was registered as a partnership firm under the laws of Brunei Darussalam. Within fifteen years of operation, Ya-Nur trading has emerged as a professionally managed trading company with well-established trade links both local and international levels. For smooth and efficient operation, now we have 300 employees and 30 delivery vehicles

Roles and Responsibilities

Research potential vendors

Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers

Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing

Track orders and ensure timely delivery

Review quality of purchased products

Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases

Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices

Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses

Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed

Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role

Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)

Hands-on experience with purchasing software

Understanding of supply chain procedures

Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses

Negotiation skills

            10+ years experience
