Job Responsibilities:

1. Primary responsibility to provide technical support for masterbatch, compound and Engineering plastic development.

2. Cost Effective and competitive product development.

3. Developing formulations of different color masterbatch and compound as per customers' requirements.

4. Troubleshoot processing problem to find out root cause of any problem related to masterbatch or compound product.

5. Building cost effective and alternative suppliers for all raw materials like additives, fillers and pigments etc.

6. Lead & train team so that individual team member can work and develop product independently.

7. To resolve any quality complaint issue.

8. ISO documentation related to certification.

9. Establishing Key customer relation and complete product model.

10. Develop product specifications to meet and work closely with process engineers to develop.

11. Lead cross-functional product team and Provide product technical support to platform/product line.

12. Extend technical support to customers in setting up processes and share good manufacturing practices.

13. Make Product technical presentations in seminars and exhibitions.

14. Monitor key metrics related to product quality and drive initiatives to achieve related goals and improve product quality.

15. Attend key stakeholder meetings to continually provide awareness of new and ongoing issues as well as quality improvement initiatives

16. To identify process gaps and take corrective actions to prevent recurrences of similar issues

Educational Qualification

BSc in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or graduate in any discipline with experience of masterbatch and compound development

Experience Requirements

The applicant should have at least 10 years of experience in following area:

Masterbatch, color masterbatch, compound and engineering plastic development, plastic & polymer processing etc.

1. Good communication skills in English

2. Basic level of computer skills

3. Knowledge of MS Office

4. Product and Process knowledge

5. Customer application and process knowledge

6. Ability to organize and lead multi-functional teams to achieve objectives
