Urgently Required Aircraft Mechanic for U.A.E Stations.

5 yrs local experience. U.A.E G.C.A.A license & DVR license will be an advantage.

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma (Undergraduate degree) in any aviation/mechanical engineering. or Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical/ Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum 2-4 years of aircraft maintenance in either Boeing or Airbus fleet aircraft(s).

  • Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance & servicing of aircraft under the supervision of Engineers in compliance with standard maintenance procedure
  • Commit to and maintain good housekeeping standards in the station
  • Ensure at all times that the safe working practices are adhered to.
  • Processing and filing of aircraft documentation
  • Maintain the vehicles in an excellent condition
  • Assist with upkeep of stores
  • Maintain the company tools and equipment's
  • Maintain nitrogen bottle pressure
  • Maintain wheel charging kit
  • Ensure cleanliness of equipment's
  • provide monthly report of vehicles and ground equipment's.
  • supports all shift members whenever required.
  • Provides support to the licensed engineer and performs maintenance activities on GJT's customer aircraft.

  • Carry out work in compliance with company procedures and safety procedures.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the facility.
  • Maintain a FOD free work area, cleans bay before and after work.
  • Assures that all tools, material, parts, equipment and documentation is prepared at the beginning of the shift.
  • Meets all assigned aircraft with engineer.
  • Ensures that stands are free/clear of equipment, tooling and spares if used.
  • Ensures that unused serviceable / un serviceable items are returned to stores with correct label attached.
  • Maintains equipment and premises utilized by maintenance staff in a serviceable, clean and safe condition.
  • Behaves in a manner which reflects a professional approach when dealing with customers.
  • Keeps himself updated on all Quality Bulletins, Safety Bulletins and technical information or operator related information.
  • Accepts appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution
  • Ensure Global Jet Technic Safety Management System Manual and Emergency Response Procedures are understood by all staff and covered by read and sign.
  • Become familiarized with, enforce and follow the procedures stipulated in the Global Jet Technic Safety Management System Manual and Emergency Response Procedures and become an active participant in the workplace safety.
  • Ensures that all work performed by GJT and completed in accordance with its processes and procedures is done in a safe manner.
  • Encourage colleagues by being actively involved in the promotion of a positive reporting culture
