Reporting to THE Group President, the incumbent will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the group companies, ensuring accurate, efficient & accurate bookkeeping to support the business.

He/She will be responsible for preparation of financial statements in accordance with financial reporting standards.



Key responsibilities:



*Gather & monitor sales revenues & liabilities

*Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual statements (Balance sheet & income statement)

*Forecast costs & revenues

*Manage tax payments

*Organize internal audits

*Monitor & report on accounting discrepancies / responding to financial inquires by gathering & interpreting data

*Manage accounts payable & accounts receivable

*Conduct risk analyses to assess potential investments



Desired Candidate Profile



Academic qualification & experience:



*The candidate should have attained the following

-Bachelors Degree in Accounting , finance or related field

-Fully qualified with professional membership to ACCA or BICA

-Minimum work experience of 3 years in business environment

-Advance knowledge of MS Excel & PASTEL PARTNER accounting software

-In-depth knowledge of business bookkeeping procedures
